SPRING/SUMMER, 2008
The delayed harvest is back in full action as our rivers and streams receive the BIGGEST stocking of the year. We have about 8 rivers within 2 hours of Charlotte that are now full of stocked bows brooks and browns. Soft hackle combos are killing it right now along with every kind of sulpher you can tie on. If you can get to the far reaches of the western part of our State, you will find all kinds of surface takes during the “magic hour” of 7PM all month long and into the summer. Look for smallies to also be eating soon, our trips to the New River in VA are doing well.
Hire any one of our 6 Orvis Endorsed guides this Spring and Summer for your next trip. Float tailrace waters with us, wade wild brook trout streams with us or travel to the BIG rivers for small mouth bass action like you have never seen before.

Look for your Wild Brook Tour report coming in June as we turn to the far reaches of NC to get up into the 3000 4000 ft range and hunt for the elusive native Brook trout all summer long. Wade in and pack in trips are available from our guides.
