Madison River Fly-Fishing Schools are the easiest and most enjoyable way to learn this rewarding pastime, and is custom designed for all levels of fisherman. The very best instruction is found at Madison River, and we encourage family, group and individual participation in our Schools. Madison River Schools are an active, hands-on experience. We teach the ORVIS Progressive Casting Method which is adaptable to all casting conditions worldwide. Our schools include casting lessons and practice with expert instructors at your side, illustrated lectures/seminars on equipment, rigging, fly selection, stream entomology, knot-tying and the basic necessities to help you build a foundation of confidence. The GOAL and OBJECTIVE of our schools is not to turn everyone into overnight fly fisherman, but to give students the necessary tools and instruction so they can have the confidence to go out on their own and enjoy a fly fishing trip. Madison River Fly-Fishing Schools also make a wonderful and unique gift. Lodging is provided by the Nu Wray Inn in nearby Burnsville, NC and is double occupancy.
